Staff Computer Replacement

For staff, the College of LSA provides a Windows machine every four years to replace the existing staff machine. The machines are purchased in bulk by LSA IT to realize the maximum cost savings so, as a result, there is no mechanism for customization as part of the staff upgrade process.

The Process

  • Once a year, LSA IT - Randall will contact the staff identified as eligible for a replacement machine. This contact will be via email and will include special instructions for that year.
  • The machine will be built with the standard administrative Windows build.
  • When the machine is ready, we’ll let you know and arrange pickup or delivery. 

Be aware that you will be required to turn in a working computer in order to receive your new one. This is done to help curb the growth of computers in the environment, as that drives up support costs unnecessarily.
